Participatory processes in Water Demand Management: Flow limiters, meters and water demand management devices - development and democratic dividends
In 2011, ACCEDE was awarded at two-year research grant from the Water Research Commisssion to analysis the rights perspectives and participatory public policies surrounding Water demand management devices. The project includes a post-graduate capacity-building component, and two full-time Masters students are currently assisting in the fi eldwork and research on this project. The research links the Centre to an number of NGOs working on similar issues, such as Cape Town’s Environmental Monitoring Group and Johannesburg’s Socio-Economic Rights Institute.
