Fieldwork Trips

The Citizen Leadership programme has concluded the fieldwork trips to India (February) and Brazil (March/April). Both trips provided an invaluable learning experience for the researchers from the visiting countries.

The India fieldtrip. The photos in this selections were taken in Delhi while visiting a community organisation called Parivathan. The organisation is involved in helping poor communities access their rights through the Right to Information Act. Women volunteers ( pictured in their meeting room) visit houses on a door to door basis providing poorer households with information on how to access services and other basic rights.
